Welcome, welcome!

Hello Mom and Dad, welcome to your new blog! Isn't it exciting? We thought this would be a convenient way for you to be amused by and keep current with friends and family. We've added "links" to websites and blogs of people you already know so you can easily visit their sites. Feel free to add (or delete) as many as you'd like (except your kids'--those are protected and can't be removed, sorry).

We know you're new to this whole "Internet" thing, and we understand it can be daunting and even scary, but in time we're confident you'll be able to catch on and even update comments and add pictures on your own. You know that in the hunter gatherer days when the parents could no longer keep up with the frequent migrations of the rest of the tribe, they would effectionately be left behind to return to nature. We sure hope that doesn't happen to you.
Now, here's some computer jargon that may come in handy:
Open a new window - If you ever hear this, its probably because your computer is heating up and needs some air. Just stand up and open the nearest window and it should solve your problem.
'You've Won!' or 'Your password needs to be updated' - don't trust them, nobody wins anything and you rarely need to update a password. These are usually unsolicited emails trying to take advantage of your guillibility to steal private information. Never make updates through emails, always visit your site directly.
Update your blog - This means your biker buddies want to see pictures from your latest ride, your family wants to see pictures of grandkids, and everyone wants to read news and updates from your lives.
Troll (trolling or troller) - Other than a big, riddle-loving monster that lives under a bridge (as seen on Dora the Explorer), a troll refers to someone who is perusing sites and stumbles upon yours by chance. They may post comments and even send invites, like "Hi, I'm admin for a group called _____. We'd like to..." Probably not the best friends to add to your "social network".
Nice avatars - That's slang and it refers to your biker legs

Armed with your new vocab, your ready to enter the blogging world!
